About Me
I'm an Uruguayan software developer that started his career working with Haskell (early 2003). Afterwards, I enforced myself with a strong background in web technologies (mainly using J2EE and PHP). In fact, I earned some certifications:
- Sun Certified Java Programmer for JDK 1.4 (SCJP) (75%)
- Sun Certified Business Component Developer for JDK 1.3 (SCBCD) (100%)
- Sun Certified Web Component Developer for JDK 1.4 (SCWCD) (92%)
Other activities related with Java language were Article Writer for JavaBeat.net
But, since beginnings of 2007, I've devoted myself, professionally, to Ruby On Rails, such a great tool for development with agile methodologies.
Besides that, I've some academic interests, such as: graph drawing (information visualization area), semmantic web, among others. Related with that, I have earned the intermediate title Diploma of Specialization in Advanced Studies of Computer Science for the Master in Computer Science that I'm currently studying.
In my personal life, I like to watch movies, soccer and read technical stuff.
Also, I tried to keep it healthy, so I love to take a run on the beach or play a basketball game with friends.
